Me262 captured by British troops

Hi folks,

Does anyone know where and when the Brits first put their hands on fully operational Me262 jets?

I was reading Clostermann´s book The Great Show (I know there are many roors there, but it is fun!), and he mentioned that a flight of five Me262s surrendered to British troops in Fassberg on May 5th, 1945, after left Praga.

Is it correct?

Thanks,

Douglas.

Dan O'Connell will become famous soon enough
262

The British received more when they captured Schleswig, the 262's belonging mostly to 10./NJG 11.
