10 April 1945, Burg bei Magdeburg : which Me 262s' unit was involved ?
Hello,
On 10th April 1945, at about 2:00 P.M., a B-17s formation which had to bomb the airdrome of Burg bei Magdeburg, was attacked by Me 262s before reaching the target. Two 100th BG's B-17s belonging to this formation, were shot down by the Me 262s. Which Me 262s' unit was involved in this attack ? and which German pilots claimed these victories ? Thank you very much in advance. Pierre BABIN |

Bonjour BABIN,
I fully recommend the reading of "The Me 262 Combat Diary" by Foreman and Harvey. I am not with my own book, but maybe JG 7 and JV 44 were involved...Perhaps someone who can have access to it can help. Anyway...it is a good book. Adriano Baumgartner |

Pierre,
Walter Schuck a écrit un livre de mémoires...publié chez Crécy Publishing. I have not bought it yet, however do guess it is a "must". Please, take a look: http://www.crecy.co.uk/product_info....roducts_id=344 Un bon cadeau de Noël ( avec rétard )...ou bien, un bon cadeau pour commencer 2011 bien... Allez...salut et à bientot.
