Re: Uffz. Willi Paulus

Hi Leo! Would you have a record of the aircraft W. Nr. And code for the aircraft Willi Paulus was flying when he shot down the Halifax bomber March 18 1944?

I was also wondering where the W. Nr. and aircraft code are documented for the aircraft for when he was shot down?

Thanks for your help!

Re: Uffz. Willi Paulus

On March 18, 1944, Willi Paulus shot down a Halifax bomber near Frankfurt. Is here a record of his aircraft identification/markings on this occasion? Is there a report of his confirmed downing?
Thanks

Hi! Would anyone have any aircraft identification / marking info for when Willi Paulus shot down the Halifax bomber on March 18, 1944?

Would there be a formal report of his downing / claim of the bomber on the above date?

We’re these downing confirmed on the ground?

Thanks

Hello Rich,

the WNr. and code for the aircraft of Uffz Paulus on 18 March 1944 are not known to me. In post #10 I have quoted the source of WNr. and code for his Fw 190 on 13 June 1944.

Regards
Leo
