fraternizing, post May 8 1945
I ask because there was a flyoff between a Tempest and a Fw190 Dora in late June 1945. The German pilot, Lange, says it was an improptu flyoff, pilots being pilots, while some 'modern' people claim that it was specifically requested by the RAF for the AFDU.
There is no doubt the results were forwarded to the correct authorities. Is this someones interpetation of history that this flyoff was requested from higher up? Thoughts and opinions. |
