German Radar Geel-Hadschot Belgium

Hi,
Germans placed a radar in Geel, Hadschot (Mannenstraat).
It was "a high building", whit binoculars and radar to spot airplanes at night.
When the resistance knew about it, RAF airplains dropped metal ribbons.
After the droppings the Germans did not use the radar anymore.

Does anyone have more info about:
- type of radars / binoculars
- how did the radar worked
- how was the communication between the observers and troops/ (night)figters
- Wich airplanes (type / squadron/ ...) did the droppings

regards,
Wim
