Re: RAF Ace ? ID ?
Hi
Not much help with the id but possibly a 257 squadron hurricane. They certainly had a tussle with the Italians in November 40. It could possibly be a Malta based hurricane. Sorry I can't be more specific than that. Gerry |

Re: RAF Ace ? ID ?
Chris Shores has identified the pilot as Levi Richard Chase, of the 33rd Fighter Group. Picture taken sometime after April 5, 1943. Two more victories in Burma. I then searched for Levi Chase and found the picture elsewhere on the Internet, identified as Chase. The airplane is a P-40.
Enjoy! Frank.
