Franz Federbusch combat?

Searching for details regarding regarding the shooting down of Franz Federbusch possibly during the early part of January 1945? Franz passed away in hospital on the 24.01.45. Can anyone help us please.
Any further info regarding the combat, aircraft type and unit of Franz would be really appreciated.

Jim, you had it -- just not a combat loss.

Bf 109G-12 WNr.19333, BK+YK of JG 112
Ofw. Paul Meier (F)/ Gefr. Franz Federbusch (Sch)
Both injured 29.Aug. 1944 in crash due to technical failure, near Landau. 100% loss.

We made a conscious decision years ago to include "everything," for while the fighter planes attract the most attention, we didn't want the more-obscure aircraft types to 'feel neglected.'
