ET Wilson, SANF (V)
Edward Taylor Wilson
The most successful FAA Hellcat pilot. Where was he born? South Africa? UK? Elsewhere? Found a possible match...https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/distr...bmd_1677511478 Cheers, Bruce |

Re: ET Wilson, SANF (V)
According to this:
https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/...omment-4204973 Edward Taylor ("Tug") Wilson was born in Co Meath, Ireland and the family emigrated to South Africa between the wars. This may be him, born in 1920 in Oldcastle, County Meath: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FB1C-NTG |

Re: ET Wilson, SANF (V)
I thought there was a chance he wasn't born in South Africa...but didn't anticipate Ireland.
