Hallo Unikum,

You deserve well your nickname!

Thanks so much for sharing those fascinating pictures. As an Bf 109 K-4 fan, you make my day! Of interest is to see in which good condition the paint has survived, when compared to the other machines depicted at the same place and time. The front view of "Yellow 6" reveals behind the Balkenkreuz the faded last three digits of the W.Nr. as generically applied at the Flossenbürg Mtt factory. The third Gruppe bar seems a bit washed off.

Thanks again for sharing those gems
Marc

Re: Photos

Hi, Unikum...

Thanks for the photos... .

Really liked this one, the aerial view of the various discarded wrecks... http://www.gstatic.com/hostedimg/58865bdbb62dd41f_large

The Heinkel 111s and 177s, various sub-types of Ju86, parts of a Henschel 126 and a Junkers W34 make up an interesting photo.

Regards...

Paul

Re: Photos

Great shots again, thanks Unikum.

It would be great if someone with a Flickr account could ask the guy who uploaded this one:

for a larger scan.

And has anyone any idea about the airfield at which the above photo was taken? Looks like the Fw 200 from the following pic was captured at the very same spot (another image shows that it was parked right next to the Fw 190 "Yellow 13" or "15"):
