10 Photographic Gp 6 May 44

Sorting through Alfred Price's photos, I came across an original photo dated 6 May 1944 of German soldiers scattering on a beach and the note 10 PG (as well as it being marked Top Secret). Anyone have a note of any missions this day, presumably from Chalgrove? I have a note that this could have been 2/Lt Albert Lanker of 31st PRS at Berques-sur-Mer?

AFHRA Reel B0756 (p. 1249) confirms your note. Mission US 31/271 flown by 2nd Lt Albert Lanker in F-5A s/n 42-12778. Minimum altitude recce of strip from Berck-sur-Mer to Le Tréport. Altitude 20' (!). TOT 1745. Observed great deal of construction work on the ground around Ault. Time of mission 1h 15min.
