Re: Polish soldiers executing German POW's
Hi, guys
I am working on an article covering more or less unknown parts of the Weserübung operatin and the battles commencing after this. The only reason for me to bring this up here is that rather than just use hearsay as a source (as a lot of people do on these matters) I would like to find written records covering these topics. The fact that the Polish soldiers did this from understandable reasons according to some is not the point, I just want to try to get a grasp on what really happened, and what is rumours and exaggerations. I believe that it is of importance, not at least for the younger generations to be able to see the broader picture also on a micro-scale with reference to the acts that people are capable of in war, even the ones on the good side. Ahhh... but I have seen the holy grail! And it is painted RLM 76 all over with a large Mickey Mouse on the side, there is a familiar pilot in front of it and it has an Erla Haube! |
