Do18G K6+AL lost 9 August 1941

Hi guys

Another Do18G query (the first concerned the loss of 8L+BL on 3 September 1941 for those who missed it!)

K6+AL of 1./406 was lost on 9 August 1941 in the North Arctic area.

I note that German destroyers Z-4, Z-10 and Z-16 sank the Russian patrol ship Tunam on this date.

I assume the Do18 loss was connected with the sea action?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers
Brian

Hi Lilsis

Thanks for the gen ... but I'm more interested in the cause of its loss.

Any ideas?

Cheers
Brian
