Do18G K6+AL lost 9 August 1941
Hi guys
Another Do18G query (the first concerned the loss of 8L+BL on 3 September 1941 for those who missed it!) K6+AL of 1./406 was lost on 9 August 1941 in the North Arctic area. I note that German destroyers Z-4, Z-10 and Z-16 sank the Russian patrol ship Tunam on this date. I assume the Do18 loss was connected with the sea action? Any help appreciated. Cheers Brian |

Hi Lilsis
Thanks for the gen ... but I'm more interested in the cause of its loss. Any ideas? Cheers Brian Last edited by Brian; 12th March 2016 at 16:41. |
