Flt. Lt James Gordon COLE, 41665, R.A.F., D.F.C. - U.S.A.A.F. missions?
Hello
I've come across the above Flight Lieutenant who was awarded the D.F.C. in 1943. He later served as a liaison officer with the U.S.A.A.F. P.R. Group at Chalgrove, and flew several missions in P-38s (or perhaps F-5s?) in 1944. Where could I possibly find out what ops he flew with the U.S.A.A.F. while he was at Chalgrove? I'm not too familiar with U.S.A.A.F. records! Many thanks Simon |

Just a quick bump in case anyone can help with info about the Ops flown by Cole with the U.S. P.R. Group at Chalgrove.
He was awarded the Air Medal in October 1945, presumably for his time at Chalgrove. Many thanks, Simon |
