About the loss of Uffz Herbert Stadler (JG 77) 14.02.1944

Bonjour,

Please, can anyone provide information on the loss of Uffz. Herbet STADLER, who was a fighter pilot (JG 77) and who was killed on the 14th February 1944 (hour ?) over North-East Italy (area of the city of Udine).

According to the http://aces.safarikovi.org/usa.warti...y.credits.html
at least 9 American pilots claimed one victory on that day (see att. paper) in Mediterranean Theater of Operations (MTO):
Confer R. (2FTR)
Emmons E. (317 FTR)
Chick L. (317 FTR)
Malloy R. (318 FTR)
Mars L. (37 FTR)
Mc Guffin S. (97 FTR)
Mock R. (317 FTR)
Rynne W. (317 FTR)
Schneider A. (97 FTR)

Please, can we find :
1- the oponents and the american pilot who shot down the aircraft (Bf 109G-6 Werk # 18886 "Black < +") ?
2- the exact crash site ?
3- photo of the German pilot and his a/c ?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Philippe
