GCII/7 - Accidents on the 16.05.40
Good morning,
on the 16.05.40 the GCII/7 lost two MS-406 (No.221 in Luxeuil and 802). Does anybody know more details abouts these accidents? Regards Robert |

Addendum,
it is related that Luxeuil airfield was straffed again by Me109E (unit?) on the June, the 16th. One Me 109E has been shoot down by the DCA ie French Flak during this attck and the A/C crashed at Champagney in Belfort County. I guess this is during this attack that the 2 a.m. A/C have been damaged. this would be confirmed in the JMO ie ORB of the GC II/7. Regards Jerome |
