Ofw. F. Karpfinger, + Jan. 5, 1943, spanish cross
Good evening!
I have seached (almost) everywhere, but have not been able to locate this Ofw. Franz Karpfinger, who fell in Russia on the above mentioned date. He is not in "Gräbersuche" or in my books and i could not find him in GQM. I tried to find him in the book "Legion Condor" by P. Laureau, since he was a recipient of the Spanish Cross. Maybe he is not even an airman, but belonged to another branch of LW. Can anyone help me with informations? Best wishes Christian
