Re: Bf-109 F-4, Stammkennzeichen CD+LI or CD+LX
Believe JG5 - a lot of this batch went to JG5.
10132 CD-LZ >> is now in Canada. Looks like III/JG5 www.ahs.no/articles/aakra-rlm_79.pdf regards MS |

Re: Bf-109 F-4, Stammkennzeichen CD+LI or CD+LX
Hallo,
for this WNr. I have the following: F-4/ trop; CD+LX According to WNr.batch it must have been built at Erla/ Leipzig. It served with III./ JG 5, from 22. or 25. of April 1942 in Pori (Finland) On 29.April 1943 there was a 20%-damage on take-off or landing at Petsamo (source: [www.luftwaffe.no/SIG/Losses/tap43.html] [www.rafandluftwaffe.info/lists/luftwaffe10.htm) [http://www.absa39-45.asso.fr/formula...erk_liste.php]Later it was to become the upper part of a Mistel-Gespann ( not sure about that) On an other website I found this: WNr. 10130: F-4/ M1; CE+LX, Eins.St./ KG 101, Ofw. Heinz Lochmüller, KIA 15.06.44, near Château de Gassard Can anyone check this? |

Re: Bf-109 F-4, Stammkennzeichen CD+LI or CD+LX
Hello!
For what it is worth. From the Finnish Pori airfield logs (Air observation and/or Finnish liaison NCO) I have following CD+L_ block Bf 109s travelling to North: CD+LF CD+LG CD+LO CD+LP CD+LQ CD+LR (CD+LV?) note recorded as "SDLV" for departure and possibly as "CDFF" for arrival CD+LW CD+LX CD+LY CD+LZ Of these only CD+LG seems not to be match if CD+LZ/WNr 10132 is taken as a "pivot point" for the whole WNr block when compared to the table in the mentioned article by Kjetil Åkra. From this and and the loss data* by Andreas Brekken it seems safe to assume that the mistel Bf 109 is CD+LI. Speculating further from there -> WNr 130115? Cheers, Kari *http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=138999 |
