Re: A JU88 crashed at "La Feuillie" in August 1944

Thanks Rudi

Wonder why he has a loss (if he really means a loss) at page 336 when he has none on page 370 (where the actual aircraft are listed)

Cheers
Stig

Re: A JU88 crashed at "La Feuillie" in August 1944

I believe B3+RL crashed returning from an attack on Caumont on 1/2-Aug crew baled out with FF Uffz Rasper injured area of Orleans. While K report 482/1944 shows Ju88 B3+PL crashed into the sea west of Avranches at 0045 hrs on 3rd. Aug. with crew Ff Fw Auerswald fate unknown (probaly killed when aircraft exploded) , B Gef. Busch baled out Pow injured, Bf Uffz Richard Wagner baled out Pow (EK1 Gold War-Flights badge) , Bs Uffz.Willhoft fate unknown. The Radtke book shows FF Fw Rudolf Auerswald wounded Pow, B Gef Paul Busch wounded Pow, Bf Uffz Richard Wagener missing no mention of the Bs Willhoft. Radtke also shows a Bs Uffz Werner Wagener missing from another aircraft the same night,

I ran one of his posts through translation software: he's a porn spammer so I've banned him and deleted all his posts.

Re: A JU88 crashed at "La Feuillie" in August 1944

Stig, is it 8643 B3+RL you are looking for, if so all I have is target Caumont on 1/2 August, crew baled out due to fuel problem over German territory on return flight to Orleans. This came from notes I made from the Radtke book. My copy is not about at present so I cannot check to see if there is anymore,
