Joseph Blümel's Ju 87 G-2 (10 (Pz)/SG 3 )
Hallo!
Joseph Blümel of 10 (Pz)/SG 3 was shot down 19 Sep 1944 in Ju 87 G-2 WNr 494231 and killed together with his gunner. Is the full unit code known today with NVMs etc. available (s7+BU?). How about Stkz? Thanks for interest, Kari

I have this:
1944-09-19, 10.(Pz.)/SG 3, Ju 87 G-2, 494231, S7+EN, Bei Kekava, 18 km südlich Riga Flugzeugführer Fw Blümel, Josef, + Bordfunker Ogfr Schwärzel, Hermann, + Notlandung infolge MG-Beschuß. Bruch ? %. Fw Blümel und Ogfr Schwärzel von den Russen durch Genickschuß ermordet. Matti

+EN? That is 5th Staffel code. Not what I expected but great info, nevertheless. I was paging through "Stukas over the Steppe" By Peter C Smith (ISBN 1-85367-355-2) which has photo of the wreck. That triggered my question. Cheers, Kari
