Weird KG 200 crash report

Hello all, in my badly scanned RL 9/77 file I have a strange crash on 26.6.1944 in Romania of what appears to be a Ju52 of 1./KG 200 travelling from Furstenwalde to Medias ? Apparently all the travelling crew died.

Does anyone know more about it ? The location etc ?

Thanks in advance

Re: Weird KG 200 crash report

Hi Mihai,

Stellbrink survived. Perhaps in an act of desperation to avoid advancing Soviet troops, on 28 April 1945 being based at Rechlin-Larz, Ltn. Bruno Stellbrink attempted to ferry an Ar 234 C-3 to Blankensee but was killed on take off.

best regards,

Jim Geens

Fantastic, thank you very much guys !

The RL 9/77 is a goldmine for me at least, all the Luftwaffe wrecks that were recovered in Romania are listed there, with WNr, unit and so on, all i'm lacking is crew and the difficulty to sometimes understand some handwriting.

I could link a sample page if it is allowed.
