Re: Recommended For the Knight's Cross
Gentlemen,
Mostly I got the information of the Knight's Cross recommendations for these Luftwaffe pilots from Kracker Archives. For the two Hs-129 pilots recommended for the Knight's Cross, its from the book " HS 129 Panzerjager!" by Martin Pegg. Sincerely, Edward L. Hsiao |

Re: Recommended For the Knight's Cross
Gentlemen,
Lt. Alwin Doppler of JG-11 was recommended for the Knight's Cross in May of 1944. Final outcome not available. Doppler had 29 air to air kills to his credit. 25 of them were four engined motored. All of them by day. Doppler was KIA on January 1,1945. His achievements was good for the Knight's Cross. Edward L. Hsiao |
