Re: Arado Ar 64C 09.39

Thanks Dirk,it is good to have a definitive answer, though I thought this might be the case when I posted. Was there then an order at some stage grounding all surviving Ar 64 or does your information apply only to the two machines mentioned in my initial post?

Regards,

Clint

Re: Arado Ar 64C 09.39

Hello Clint,

the information comes from a report about the aircraft at Fl.Techn.Sch. 3 in September 1939, which can be found at RL 17/68.
The Ar 64 were in a listing of 8 aircraft, which were in Freimann and were used there as visual aid and training aid for the School. Some of the aircraft there were without wings and engines.
Other aircraft from this list were 2 Hs 122, 2 W 33, one Do 23 and 1 F 13.

Regards

Dirk
