RAF Turnhouse Sept-Nov 1937

Hi,

Hoping someone might have a copy of the station record book for RAF Turnhouse for September - November 1937.

Trying to determine the dates No.218(B) Squadron visited.

Any pointers / help appreciated.

TIA

Steve

218 Sqn Lost Hawker Hind K6632 on 26th Nov 1937 on their way from Edinburgh to Hooton Aerodrome, Cheshire

So I assume it was around this date

Hi Paul,

Yes, that's correct, trying to establish if 218 was detached to Turnhouse, and if they were what was the dates.

Regards

Steve

Paul,

This is not correct. The squadron was in Scotland, or a flight was.

Regards

Steve
