H.D. COOKE 307 Squadron?
Was this pilot a member of 307 Squadron in 1940. I believe he is the same man who took command of 315 Squadron (Jan-Jul.1941), and that he was an unpopular officer with the Poles. His career pre-war and any other details are of interest. I believe he may have been with 33 Squadron in Egypt pre-war.

Re: H.D. COOKE 307 Squadron?
Thanks Col. His involvement with the Poles does seem to have been as part of the dual-command system operated at the beginning of their formation. Not always successfully.
