FW 190 losses on 3 November 1944?
I'm looking for information on a probable loss of a German FW 190 over the Kachanie-Skopje are in Macedonia on the 3 November 1944. On that day Bulgarian Ju-87Ds from 1/2nd Assault orlyak bombed German troops around Skopje when at 14:45 they were bounced by 7 FW 190s. One "Stuka" was shot down (pilot Stoyu Stoyanov and gunner Georgi Georgiev), and according to the other pilots one of the 190's, which reatreated in the "opposite direction", loosing height and leaving a smoke trail. Which was the German unit that took part in the combat and did it loose any planes?
Thank you. |
