Re: 182 Sqn Typhoon 1B MN735 Code?
You will have to be very lucky to discover the code for this aircraft. It was delivered to 182 sqn on 7 June and crashed on 8 June (not 7th)! The ORB does not record codes and logs the flight as 'MN693' which was probably MN735's replacement.
Bean's log may provide the answer - if you can locate that. Another long shot would be 49 MU's records - as it seems to have been that unit that recovered the airframe. Although the aircraft was categorised as repairable there is not record of any repair or return to service after the crash-landing. CT |
