Colonel Golovya Soviet Air Force Arctic Circle 1941

Hi

Long shot, but has anyone got any more information on a Colonel Golovya

He was Commander of 1 Air Regiment in late 1941 in the Arctic Circle.

I am sure 1 Air Regiment consisted on 145IAP, 147IAP and a SB bomber unit?

regards

MS

Hi,

Do you mean the 1st Mixed air division (SAD)? It contained these units: 137 SBAP, 145 IAP, 147 IAP, 10 SBAP. Golovnya was in command until 2/15/42. That's all I have. I hope this helps.
