Beobachter killed 30.12.1943?

Hi Guy's,

Found this on German eBay but sadly I have no data regarding this loss?
I believe his name is Erich Bartschiess, but I could be wrong!
Has anyone got the loss details for this fellow???

Kind regards,

Melvin

Re: Beobachter killed 30.12.1943?

Hi Melvin,

This information come from the VDK (www.volksbund.de) website.

"Hauptmann Erich Bartschiess
* 28.3.1916 Krausen
+ 30.12.1943 Parnes-Athen

His grave is located at War Cemetery of Dionyssos-Rapendoza. Tomb 3, Row 5, Plate 4."

Perhaps Matti have more detailed information about the unit, a/c etc.

Hope this helps,
René
