I./JG 6 Fw 190 A 'Red 7' or 'Yellow 7'

Hello,

Does anybody have information about a lost (crash-landed) Fw 190 A with tactical code ‘Red 7’ or ‘Yellow 7’ of I./JG 6?

Thanks,
Roger

Hello John,

Excellent, thank you!

What does RLVE mean? RV-Band?

Do you know if a photo of the Fw 190 A-8, W.Nr. 961198 surrendered at Fürth exists?
That is very likely the machine I was looking for.

Regards,
Roger

The aircraft in question may also have been attached to JG 2. In the meantime, I could find out a fragment of its W.Nr.. See here (I opened a new thread since it may be a JG 2 Fw 190 and the thread title would then have to be different):

Thanks for any support!
