B-17 44-41050 of 451 Bomb Group

Hello,

I'm looking after some information about the crash of the B-17 serial 44-41050 from the 451st Bomb Group and went down on the 13 of October 1944. The
mission that day was to Vienna, Austria. The aircraft crashed in Hungary.
That crew consisted of:

2Lt Ashley D. Smith, Pilot (POW)
2Lt Lloyd E. Yarbrough, Copilot (POW)
2Lt William G. Vorhaus, Bombardier/Navigator (POW)

Sgt Richard B. Clark, AEG (POW)
S/Sgt Arnold R. Silverstein, ROG (EVADED)
Sgt Francis L. Burger, Gunner (POW)
Sgt James J. Devlin, Gunner (KIA)
Sgt Constantine P. Margaritis, Gunner (POW)
SGT James M. Cassin, Gunner (POW)

The plane went down at Nemesker, Hungary at 12.30 PM. An engine number, NAV3798 has been found and confirmed the case.
