Re: Jagdfliegerverbände Vol. 11 / II

Hi Jochen,

Excellent news -- looking forward to receiving my copy.

Your ability to maintain such continuity across publishers is greatly appreciated, and the products of your work are always very satisfying.

Thanks and best regards,
Leon Venter

Re: Jagdfliegerverbände Vol. 11 / II

Just received my copy from Christian Schmidt (excellent service, BTW...).

The book is fantastic and full of new photographic material (surely the same goes for the text, by my knowledge of German will necessite some more months to appreciate it in full...)

Only one note and a correction: pity for the quality of the colour slides, which results in a somewhat "faded" look of the colours, probably due to the fact that they have been printed not on dedicate paper but on the same paper used for text and b/w.

On page 447, the plane shown is a Fiat G.55, not a Reggiane Re.2005! Certainly one misidentification may always happen, but the plane was quite recognisable.

Congratulations for the great effort, looking forward for the other parts dealing with the Mediterranean and Italy in 1944...

Re: Jagdfliegerverbände Vol. 11 / II

To those who have already seen/bought the book: how much is the activity in Rumania and the Balkans, in general, covered?
