Two Fw 190 losses on 22 August 1944
Hello,
I have from a local source some data about two Fw 190 that probably collided on 22 August 1944 over the Marburg/Biedenkopf area. The first crashed and burned at Amöneburg, the second belly-landed at Stausebach with small damage. In both cases the pilot was unhurt (a good thing for them, but a bad one for finding them in surviving documents). Here is a map of the area: http://maps.google.fr/maps?hl=fr&sou...-8&sa=N&tab=wl I would like to identify the unit of these Fw 190. Thanks in advance Laurent |
