looking for all Informations about the Loss of Olt. Dietrich Forke from 2./(F) /SAGr. 131. Due to GQM for 13.October 1943, Mid Air Collision with Bf-109 2./JG5 Ltn. Manfred Assmy. south of Mandal / Norway.
Searching all Infos for the family of Forkes BF, Uffz. Friedrich (Fritz) Rabe which was living near my home in Münchehagen / Loccum. Due to VDK Database, the entire Crew was never found.

None of the sources list a code for the machine. SKZ based on SKZ lists.

2. Security Patrol by 2.(F)/123 (Stavanger-Bergen)

Aircraft A and F were to operate from 0700–2010. Aircraft were not heard in W/T. Aircraft K however was heard 0841–0844

NOTE: 1 Bv 138 probably of 2.(F)/131 was rammed by a fighter in position RYVINGEN 330º 1.3. miles. Fighter sank in flames immediately. Unsuccessful attempts were made to salvage the Bv 138. The crew was lost.

Forke was promoted to Hauptmann probably after his death according to his Personalunterlagen in Freiburg.

Collision happen at 08.15 (Berlin time) above convoy with gunboat K.2 as flagship. Place at 150 grad, 1.3 miles from Ryvingen. K.2 found only debris at place
