Handwriting (names)

I'm reading a French book about German anti-partisan operations round Grenoble which includes a July 1944 extract from a II./KG 26 Flugbuch.

The names in the attached clip are given as Singermann, Rollmüller, Freese and Reali but I've got my doubts about three of those. Freese should be OK as it's his FB but none of the other names show up in (e.g.) the Hamburg phone book. Can anyone offer better readings?

Rudi Schmitt's book has an Uffz. Heinz Reale missing over the North Sea on 21 April 1945, so "Reali" could be a mis-spelling.

Matti Salonen will become famous soon enough
Re: Handwriting (names)

I read:

FF Dingermann, Josef, BF Freese, Karl-Heinz, BS Reali, Heinz and probably BO Rollmann.

Re: Handwriting (names)

I Couldn't find a "Singermann" anywhere, but there is a huge deli in Ann Arbor/Michigan (where the University of Michigan is located) by the name of "Zingerman's". The trouble is that the first letter of the name from the FB entry does not look like either an "S" or a "Z", at least to me. Nor did I see anything similar on the German handwriting website:

L.

Oops! Looks like Matti beat me to the draw. I didn't even think to check the letter "D".

Re: Handwriting (names)

Thanks Larry and Matti.

In the case of "Rollmüller", I'm pretty confident about the "…müller" part, which matches several u+umlaut elsewhere on the page.

Possibly of some help with the first letter of the name are the attached clips showing Brandbomben and Rennes. I'd say that the B is a better fit than the R.

Thanks Rudi,

There are people called Pollmüller in 62 locations in Germany, according to this site: https://www.kartezumnamen.eu/index.p...Cller&s=Suchen

And, I hope, a final question — in the attached clip I can read "Überführung des Boden…s" but the last few letters escape me at the moment, so suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.

Thanks Leo, I had "Bodenpersonal" stuck in my head and I knew it couldn't be that!
