H.Carganico's airplane

Hi Folks !
I started a kit of 109 G6, and i should like to do the Carganico's BF 109; but I have two questions:
- the Mickey picture was only left side or also in right side?

- The uppers wings tips were painted also in yellow as underside tips??

thanks so much an advance and best regards !!

Hi Ettore.

You may find useful stuff here:

http://p219.ezboard.com/fwwiiairwaro...picID=80.topic

Even if not proved we assume Mickey was on both sides (functioning as an identity number it must have been visible from both sides!). Wingtips were in all probabillity yellow on top (see photographs provided in the linked site above).

I'll be glad to answer other spesific questions regarding this aircraft if needed.

Good luck with the model,

Kjetil

Well, I don't have the decals you mentioned but I suspect they are a bit off.

I would suggest getting Eagle Cals #42:

Take a look at this model which i beleive is very close to the original:

(although the colour of Mickey's clothing is open to discussion).
