Help from Spanish readers-two books about Spanish pilots in VVS 1941-1945
While surfing the net I cam accross two books written by two Republican fighter pilots who later flew in Russia during WWII. I'm thinking about buying them and would welcome any information.
The books are: (1) "You Fui Piloto de Caza Rojo" by Francisco Tarazona (2) " Le Llamaban Diablo Rojo" by Francisco Merono |

Re: Help from Spanish readers-two books about Spanish pilots in VVS 1941-1945
Hi,
I have not read any books, but both were great aces.... i found this comment googling: Personal comment: for my taste and after reading almost all the reports of pilots Republicans, the two books Pellicer Meroño are best described air combat (perhaps next to "Taran" Andres Fierro menu, though this diary style ), reminding me often to live virtual experiences in the simulator. It begins with a particular language was too poetic and takes a while to get into "works", perhaps best of his intervention in the 2nd GM, but both seem to me essential to the fly-geeks. other books: TITULO: De nuevo al combate. Aviadores republicanos en el cielo soviético. EDITORIAL: AUTOR: Francisco Meroño Pellicer I.S.B.N: 84-609-4949-4 FOTOS: Sí Description: This book and the above referenced are the memories of Meroño Francisco Pellicer, hunting aviator Republican civil war in Spain and the Great Patriotic War of the former Soviet Union. if you need info about spanish pilots see my thread: http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?t=29681 and about Tarazona i find this web but is in spanish language: http://www.serafimov.com/web/index.p...icos&Itemid=64 regards
