Mieczysław Gorzula RIP

Mieczysław 'Mike' Gorzula passed away on Tuesday in Canberra, Oz. One of the few, he served with a number of RAF and PAF Sqns, but most of his service he spend with 302 Sqn. He was a one of just four Polish pilots credited with a destruction of Me 262 fighter, the victory being achieved in a dog fight (and not on landing pattern for example). Post war, for a few years he was employed as an instructor in Pakistan.
Rest in peace, Mike!

Re: Mieczysław Gorzula RIP

Hi Franek

Sad news but you mentioned this was imminent. Sadly, many of the WWII veterans are coming to the end of their days.

RIP

Brian
