Being the owner of Romanian Aeronautical Constructions by Antoniu/Cicos, I wonder how much more interesting details (for me) this book will give?

Does it give any expanded manufacturers production details (each airframe identified and also its corresponding civil registration or military serial number)?

Hello Stig. Romanian Aeronautical Constructions by Antoniu/Cicos is a book about all the Romanian aeronautical Construction since the beginning. Our book is only about, IAR - Industria Aeronautica Romană, the factory located in Brașov, the factory that build the IAR-80. The book describe the production since the beginning up to 1948 when the production stoped. In this book the we have manufacturers production details but not for each airframe. The book covers in 256 and 533 fotos the production, and the related entities of the factory (Aeroclubul Brașov, 1st Bombing Flotila, ASAM). Follow the link to our fb page to see some sample pages!

Yes I realise that. However the most important type designed and built by IAR was the IAR 80 range of fighters and I already have a book about that by Radu Brinzan.

From your answer (and FB pages) I have to conclude your book does not provide what I am looking for.

Does the book mention sources of paints used by IAR Brasov, e.g. for painting P.24E fighters? Or any others?

Sorry, but no! We identified in the archives some suppliers for paint, but only general mention like *green*/ *brown* not specific colours!

Just for curiosity , is there/have you found anything technical-related to Bf 109 G production (flight acceptance sheets, test evaluation reports, etc.) in Brasov?
