Dear all,

I was given - courtesy of Gordon Permann - this very clear shot of a nosed over Erla built Bf 109 G-10 or G-14, as seen at war's end.

Given the II Gruppe bar with white surrounding, I wonder if this could be a II./JG 52 machine ? Could it have a landing mishap whilst reaching Neubiberg in the morning of 8 May 1945 ? Could anyone shed some light on the actual background of this shot ?

lots of 109 stuff on a web site 'relics from the front' is this guy genuine or are histories dubious?
