Memorial place of Gfr. Heinrich PFEIFFER, JG 302

Yesterday I found by chance this memorial place of a german fighter pilot.
The family who cares about the site gave me the information that Gfr. Heinrich PFEIFFER crashed there on July 25th, 1944. I've checked that information with Willi Reschke's book and it seems to be true.

I'm looking now for further information about this pilot. Thanks for any help. Maybe some of his relatieves are still alive?

Here is another view of the same site. The helmet on the cross has nothing to do with the crash. It was attached after the war.
