St George golf course
It was fun watching the Open this weekend. There was a flyover of two Spitfires. The crowd loved it. Right on the south coast it must have seen many aircraft during the war. Were there any crashes or bombs there during the time? Thanks

Re: St George golf course
Since it's in Sandwich, Kent so I'd be surprised if there weren't some bombs and crashes thereabouts in 1940.
