Kroatian pilot in LW

Does anyone manage to decypher the name behind a picture I obtained, regarding a sub-officer Luftwaffe airman with the U-Kroatian Air Legion badge (so maybe a Jg 52 or KG 3 airman).

I tried to find a match on the Kroatian Aces of WW2 but got no joy, so possibly a Bomber airman.

Re: Kroatian pilot in LW

Could you please post at least a low-resolution photo, someone here on the TOCH might recognize him?

Regards,
Sinisa

Sidney and Thomas,

This is the airman. Long and distant shot...and he is looking downwards, so, not sufficient to identify (in my opinion). I guess that the name may be a clue and he do have the Frontflugspange, but I can not identify if fur Jäger or Kampfflieger.

Hi Adriano,

You are right that the photo does not really help in identifying this airman.
There must be someone on TOCH who can decypher his name and hopefully that helps to find out more about him.

Good luck!

Regards, Thomas

A brief inscription and an indistinct photo, this will be a hard one to crack!
