Question Pilot Interned , name ?

Hello,
For a while now, without success I have been seeking the name of a British (?) pilot.

Reportedly interned between the 31st May - 2nd June 1942.
Date said to have been 1st June 1942.

Aircraft reportedly a Hurricane, in sea off the coast of Turkey.

So far I have not found a Hurricane that fits more any name either.

Anyone know of any loss in the area over the time period I note above ?

Thanks
Alex
