What plane is this?
Hello,
I have met the wall (again) and would like to ask for some help here. I recently got a number of Flugbuchs belonging to the same pilot. One of the flights says g 24 with the code D-ADOV. But looking in "Civil aircraft Registration" it says that D-ADOV was a Ju 52. Can anyone help me with the type g 24 please? Thank you, Christian

Re: What plane is this?
The Junkers G-24 can be seen as the forerunner or "father" of the Ju-52 so maybe thats where the confusion with the reg arises...?

Re: What plane is this?
Pieter Gogh listing gives D-ADOV as a Junker G-24.
So, Christian, I don't know what is your source, I mean what you call "Civil aircraft Registration" (sic) Cheers, Franck. |

Re: What plane is this?
Hi - cbe2009
I also have D-ADOV also as a G.24 but from a photographic source. Is the Flugbuch from a Scheereu? and is the base Unit stationed at Hannover and are the dates roughly mid/late 1938? A lot of asks but would appreciate anything you might have - Thanks |

Re: What plane is this?
Hello, sorry the delayed answer.
Thank you all very much for your help, it's highly appreciated. Yes RudiS is right. That was my source. On top of the page, where I found D-ADOV, it said Civil Aircraft Registration, so I thought that was the name. My mistake, sorry. Cheers Christian
