Navy Hurricane down in Desert.
What became of an 806 Sqdn FAA Hurricane W9359 that went down in enemy territory on 23rd November, 1941. Pilot was rescued after two days.

RNFS reported sortie at lunch time for air cover over 1 South African Div area Gabr Saleh/Sidi Rezegh (Totensonntag battle). Hurricanes went into defensive circle when Ju 88 escorted by Me 109 and G.50s showed up. Two planes missing from this sortie. This one is S/Lt. Talbot missing, returned to squadron 25 November. Hurricane G, no further info.
