Re: Help me to identify this aircraft

Although I can't identify the airplane, here are a couple observations: 1). the "F" in the fuselage code suggests that it may be of French registry, and 2). the shape of the vertical tail and, especially, the engine cowl bear a strong resemblance to a Breguet 14, which was a French observation plane from WWI; however, this plane has a parasol wing arrangement, whereas the Breguet 14 was a biplane - perhaps this is a later development based on the Breguet 14?

Re: Help me to identify this aircraft

I was unable to identify it using this page:
http://www.aviafrance.com/firmes.php
(I have no time enough in work to open each name!)
Better chance to me is to look at Francisco Pereira´s book in home.
The Aviação Militar (from Brazilian Army) had almost all planes from French origin. The photo may have been taken in Brazil. It can be also one of Aeropostale machines that flew in Brasil too.

Must be a machine from Aeropostale, see the one at the bottom of this poster/postcard:

Re: Help me to identify this aircraft

I think you're right - the engine cooling vents, gear struts, and wing struts look the same. Interestingly, the Aeropostale card includes a Breguet 14 in the upper right corner !

Bom Dia,

Franck is right.
This aircraft is a Laté model 26-2.R MSN655 reg. F-AILP. This info is based on the french registration databasis.
