23rd August 1943 losses over Northern Germany ( due to P-38 action )

Good night to all!
I am trying to obtain more information on the combats that took place on 23rd August 1943 over Northern Germany.
Any information on Luftwaffe losses would be welcomed ( principaly due to P-38 action ).

Hello Adriano:

Are you quite sure of your date of 23 August 1943? I noted that the USAAF chronology website shows no USAAF ops in the ETO on that date:

Also noted that The Luftwaffe Over Germany: Defense of the Reich by Caldwell & Muller states that: 'The weakened Eighth Air Force flow only six missions in the 19 days following Schweinfurt-Regensburg (on 17 August 1943), all to targets in France and the Low Countries'

You do have reason Don W!
I did a terrible mistake on this thread! I am actually looking for losses that ocurred on the 25th AUGUST 1944!!!!!!
I already found on my books the III/JG 53 and III/JG 300 side of history..However I am still looking down for II/JG 5 and I/JG 3 losses that day...
