Loss of 14th FG 48th FS USAAF 8/7/44

Hi all,
I am interesting in loss of 14th FG 48th FS USAAF on 8/7/44.
I believe the name of pilot was F/O B. Martin.
Please can anyone give me more information about the pilot, his plane and this mission?
TIA
Pavel

Hi,

The 8th July 44

two are noted as lost and macr's are 7188 and 8943
42-68163 and 44-23204. But I think that these were for the 7th August 44.
This is the a/c you seek I think, 42-104051 MACR 6807.
43-28670 was also lost.
As was Roy R. Sielert.

Alex
