66 Sqn RAF leadership 1945

There was a turnover in the leadership of 66 Sqn in Feb/March 1945, and the new CO was S/Ldr R. Mathieson.

There was a P/O R. Mathieson serving with 66 Sqn in July 1942, so I'm assuming they are one and the same. There was also a F/Lt Mathieson with 130 Sqn in 1944; the same person? Given name?

The new F/Cdrs were F/Lts George Roberts (A409322) and Lloyd Mackay Ralph (NZ401779), ex-453 and ex-485 Sqns respectively. The ORB doesn't reveal who took over which flight; any ideas?

Cheers,

Bruce

Hello Bruce,

I was wondering if you have the service numbers and/or photos of William Anderson, John Baxter and Frank Yates, who were also member of 66 Sqn when S/Ldr. Mathieson took command of the squadron.

Kind regards,

Serge
