I believe Marc is right and it's strictly the same Mistel at the same place... i.e. Marburg?.. or Mers(e)burg ???

Good to have your confirmation, Franck. Snautzer, the different time frame /angle speaks does not change the buildings one can see in the background

And yes, Franck, you're correct: the caption says "Mersburg", hence Merseburg indeed.

Cheers
Marc

Great find again, RudiS: at first, It thought we see a bit more of that Bf 109 G from JG 53 you spotted already in post 1453. In fact it is a different machine as the one found today is assumed to be in Fürstenfeldbruck; it is an Erla built Bf 109 G-14 W.Nr. 46x xxx, "Weisse 14" from 1./JG 53.

Cheers
Marc

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Thanks Rudi.

The Bf109E BI+
Since it has a white band ..
E-7(?). BI+WE, WNr.4158, found by British at Trapani-Milo, 13 July 1943. Prien III./JG77 page 19839.
... Most probably.
Former machine of 2.(H)/14 accidented during rolling at Trapani on 14/11/1942. 60%.

Regards,
Franck.
